Old Rip Van Winkle 1986 23 Year Old, Family Selection 2009 Decanter with Presentation Case
This incredible 23-year-old bourbon whiskey was distilled in 1986 at the Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery and bottled in 2009 for the Family Selection in this limited edition crystal decanter.
Bottled at 114 proof (57 percent ABV), this was the first time the 23yo was offered at a strength other than the series standard 95.6 proof, and it was one of only 1200 sets produced.
Each crystal decanter is hand-engraved and numbered, and it comes in a lovely solid wood, leather-lined presentation case with two Glencairn glasses and a signed COA by company President, Julian P. Van Winkle III. A truly stunning offering that is rarely seen in public.
Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style Whiskey
In 1920, the Volstead Act ushered in an infamous era of prohibition in the United States. Just six distillers in Kentucky were permitted to create bourbon, for ‘medicinal’ purposes. This whisky, from Old Forester, is bottled at 57.5% ABV, in tribute to the restrictions of the time.

If you're a Four Roses enthusiast and curious about which specific recipes, it's the OBSV, OESV, OBSK, OESK, OBSF, and OESF recipes. If you're a little unfamiliar with Four Roses and you're looking at all those letters with a quizzical expression upon your face, know that they mean Four Roses created this one using two of its mash bills as well as a combination of yeast strains. Weighing in at 52% ABV, this expression shows off a fruit-forward side of Four Roses' bourbon, alongside classic vanilla richness and warming woody notes.
